Our Story

Hi my name is Ellie Sherwood I’m originally from Bridport and I’ve lived in Lover since 2015. I have the most amazing supportive husband called kern, our daughter Esme who was born in 2021

and our dog Finn who we rescued from Romania.  


I have always had a passion for food and baking in particular. When I left school I went straight into working in the restaurant industry whilst going to college once a week, building my skills and working with some great people. I trained as a Patisserie chef at Brockenhurst College and completed my level 3 NVQ in 2016. I then went on to work at The Bell Inn as the Pastry Chef. I was there for four years until it closed because of covid-19.

I missed working and I had always wanted to venture out on my own but I didn’t have the confidence, so with some encouragement from family and friends I made the massive step in starting my own business in 2020. My aim has been to bring a restaurant quality to your homes using good quality ingredients.
